Privacy Policy

SeekTag respects and protects the personal privacy of all users who utilize its services. SeekTag will use and disclose your personal information in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy. However, SeekTag will handle such information with the highest degree of diligence and due care. Except as otherwise stipulated herein, SeekTag will not disclose or provide this information to third parties without your prior consent. This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. By agreeing to the SeekTag Service Agreement, you are deemed to have fully consented to all terms of this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy constitutes an inseparable part of the SeekTag Service Agreement.

1 Scope of Application

a) When using SeekTag, the application requires permissions for location, Bluetooth, camera, and storage.

b) As Bluetooth is used to connect devices and calculate distances, the device will trigger an alarm when you search for valuable items. Simultaneously, the app will record the lost/found location, requiring background operation of location (GPS) services.

c) Camera permission is required for device binding via QR code scanning.

d) Please accept these permission requests and enable Bluetooth and location (GPS) to ensure the app functions properly.

You understand and agree that the following information falls outside the scope of this Privacy Policy:

a) Illegal activities or violations of SeekTag rules, along with corresponding measures taken by SeekTag against you.

2 Use of Information

a) SeekTag will not provide, sell, rent, share, or trade your personal information to any unrelated third party, unless prior consent is obtained, or the third party (including SeekTag affiliates) provides services to you independently or jointly with SeekTag. After service termination, such third parties will be barred from accessing all relevant materials, including previously granted access.

b) SeekTag does not permit any third party to collect, edit, sell, or disseminate your personal information in any way. Should any user engage in such conduct, SeekTag reserves the right to immediately terminate the Service Agreement with that user.

3 Disclosure of Information

SeekTag may disclose your personal information in whole or in part under the following circumstances:

  • a) Disclosure to third parties with your prior consent;
  • b) Necessary sharing with third parties to provide requested products or services;
  • c) Disclosure to third parties or administrative/judicial authorities as required by law or regulations;
  • d) Disclosure to third parties if you violate Chinese laws, regulations, the SeekTag Service Agreement, or related rules;
  • e) Other disclosures deemed appropriate under applicable laws, regulations, or platform policies.

4 Information Storage and Transfer

Information collected by SeekTag will be stored on servers of SeekTag or its affiliates. Such information may be transferred to, accessed from, stored in, or displayed outside your country/region or the jurisdiction where SeekTag collects data.

5 Information Security

a) SeekTag uses HTTPS to prevent data theft or tampering during transmission, ensuring data integrity. Despite these security measures, please note that "perfect security measures" do not exist on information networks.

6 Account Deletion

To delete your account, navigate to "Me > Delete Account" within the app. Before submitting a deletion request, carefully read and fully understand all terms regarding account deletion. Submission implies your acceptance of these terms. If you disagree with any provisions, please immediately stop the deletion process. Account deletion is irreversible and will result in permanent loss of access to your SeekTag account, including but not limited to:

  • Inability to log in or use SeekTag services;
  • Removal of all devices linked to the account.
